Nike Air Monarch IV

Just as I remember perfect for every day use

They are great shoes, comfortable and sturdy. The only issue is I’ve worn them for a week, and they started to squeak with every step. Hope it doesn’t get worse for the price I paid for these.

This is my fourth pair of air monarchs. The fit is great. The foot bed is great. However, the tongue padding is almost an inch thick and sticks up too high creating a pressure point on the top of my ankle. My first solution is to loop the top laces underneath the tongue and pulls it up but, that might create another spot. My second solution is to take an exact knife and remove the top inch or so of padding and covered up moleskin. If not, these solutions work, I guess I will donate the shoes
