Love these shorts! I wasnt sure what to expect as I never have much luck with shorts. They ride up, are too short, and are generally uncomfortable. These shorts are the opposite! I love the materials, it’s breathable yet provides perfect coverage. They don’t ride up, and are the perfect length. They also hold up really well in the wash. Love them!

Upon trying on the Nike Sportswear Essential Woven Trend Short, the fit and feel are appropriate and accurate sizing. The length sits nicely inches above the knee and is comfortable. Design is a mix of athletic leisure and street-wear. Seems very versatile to wear in many different occasions. The fabric seems strong, durable and comfortable. I am able to move easily and comfortably throughout the day. I like the way it sits on my waist but still has room so it’s not restrictive of my movement. The waist is also comfortable and stretchy. Some things I’d consider changing would be changing the string around the waste to something more stable and possibly adding some type of dongle at the end of the string for aesthetic effect. I’d also would’ve liked zipper pockets to help contain my items better when working out.

Upon receiving the Nike Sportswear Essential Woven Trend Shorts, size: M (medium) I immediately held the fabric wondering if this textile could possibly be the same used for parachutes. The fabric is so light weight and moved with me when I went for my run that morning. The only problem I have with this particular item is that it runs a size up. They are not true to size. I am 5’9” and have a coke bottle frame. I had to pull the draw string to its full-length. This set of shorts runs an entire size up. So I cannot state it is true to size. I also understand for the activity they are geared for is not entirely a fashionable performance sport but they honestly reminded me of something my mother at her age would wear walking around the neighborhood. The drawstring placement and utility is ideal but the drawstring its self feels like it will snap with several uses and reminded me of a wire. Especially since I am normally a medium and these being a medium but realistically a large I had to make use of the drawstring and it felt like it was cutting into me or would snap while running.
