AIR MAX ZERO
THE ONE BEFORE THE 1
The Nike Air Max Zero is the first release of the Air Max 1's never-before-seen, pre-concept design by then-developer Mark Parker and designer Tinker Hatfield. The bootie-inspired construction and sock-like upper are nods to Tinker's original vision, while a visible Max Air unit in the heel delivers lightweight cushioning that made the Air Max an icon. Tinker's original vision is finished in a blend of grey tones.

HERITAGE
Remember the revolution. 1987 saw the birth of the Air Max lineage, showcasing visible Air for the first time. What began as an experiment in cushioning soon evolved into an icon on the track – and the streets. Over the years, it’s been reimagined and retooled, but the heritage always remains.
