AIR MAX ZERO
1991 TONES
In 1985, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Parker set out to make the invisible, visible. The task was thought by many to be impossible, but in true Nike fashion, the unthinkable came to life with the 1987 release of the the Air Max 1.
Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max concept sketches would go unseen for nearly three decades, until the arrival of the innovative Air Max Zero in 2015. Now releasing in colorways inspired by past visible Air icons, the Air Max Zero now arrives in a look inspired by the original Air 180 runner.
AIR MAX ZERO
HERITAGE
Remember the revolution. 1987 saw the birth of the Air Max lineage, showcasing visible Air for the first time. What began as an experiment in cushioning soon evolved into an icon on the track – and the streets. Over the years, it’s been reimagined and retooled, but the heritage always remains.
