Bill Bowerman, Nike's original innovator, put our blueprint in place. He also inspired the design details on this Blueprint collection, like the speckled Swoosh logo. It reminds us of where we've been as we push into the future.

Traction: High

The more traction you have underfoot, the more separation you can create. It also helps you stop on a dime and shift gears at will. A modern herringbone traction pattern helps give you optimal grip for a sticky feel that's ideal for lateral cuts and quick changes in movement.

Cushioning: Moderate

The more cushioning you have underfoot, the softer and more comfortable every step and jump can be. We placed Cushlon foam underfoot to help absorb the impact of your feet hitting the ground and give you responsive cushioning.

Responsiveness: Moderate

What does it mean when we say this shoe is responsive? Soft foam helps absorb the energy of your step and return it back to you, helping to move you forward. Responsive shoes give you more spring in your step to help you get more out of your game.
