Nike LD-1000 SP

Just like I remembered growing up in late 70’s. Classic Blue and Yellow color is timeless. Fit is good, not too narrow. I bought a half size up and they feel perfect to me.

I couldn't find these in brick and mortar stores, so I took a chance ordering them online and I'm glad I did. They arrived within days, and in immaculate condition. These shoes have the great low profile and clean lines like they had years ago, but the update is absolutely contemporary and improves upon them. They are lightweight, yet sturdy, and even though I have a wide foot, they were in no way constricting. The colors are bold and enthusiastic, and make me want to find a reason to wear them everywhere. I had a pair of Nikes similar to these as as a kid in the early 80's, and it's like being reunited with an old friend. Thanks, Nike! You all made my day!

Absolutely love them! I bought the royal blue with the yellow swoosh. Same colors as the L.A. Rams. They go with everything, jeans, khakis, shorts or whatever! They remind me of my Cortez from 1979. There're true to size, however, a little snug, but nothing to ruin your day over. Also, I wouldn't use them for running or cross-training. The cons: I have a wide foot, and with all my other Cortez, the glue lets go where the sneaker meets the sole on the inner part of my foot. Though it's not deal breaker, I just buy two pairs so I'll always have one ready to go. I only wish Nike would put out more colors. They remind me off the Nike Waffle Racer from 5 years ago. Lastly, if you have a wide foot size up a half-size. I didn't because I like to feel my sneaker.
