Realizzazione

  • Men's Hoodie Review

    MochiLicious - 30 giu 2024

I loved the size and fit of this hoodie. The fit is true to size. It's a boxy fit so it will be loose and baggy but that's what today's trends is. The Nike logo is very subtle on the cuff as it is stitched in black. It doesn't make a statement but it's one of those, if you know, you know. It is super comfortable in this hoodie and I love wearing it to lounge around at home. You sometimes forget that you have this hoodie on because it's so comfortable. The fabric is similar to any other tech fleece product we have known to love from Nike. With that being said though the cuff on the wrist is not stretchy so it isn't possible to pull up your sleeve if it does get a little warm or if you need to do a task and not get it dirty or wet such as washing your hands. That is the only negative thing about this hoodie but other than that I highly recommend it.

  • Absolute best sweater

    Hoodie - 30 giu 2024

When i received this hoodie i was immediately impressed. The feel of the material was amazing. It's the softest sweater i have ever tried on or used. I was not only drawn to it by the feel of the sweater but the aesthetic look. Its a bit too oversized for me however i felt like the oversized feel of the sweater it was actually extremely comfortable and it kept me quite warm which was not what i expected. Overall it is an amazing hoodie i also like that it only had the nike logo on the sleeve but it would have been cool if it had the nike logo maybe like right in the middle centered on the hoodie.

  • Hoodie made for Archival Fashion-heads .. or Gym Rats

What did you think about the fit and feel? > I am somewhat of a hoodie connoisseur having purchased from, lived in, and cared for hoodies all over the world. From Italian masterpieces to Japanese statement pieces to Los Angeles staple pieces, I’ve experienced a great range of them. The first, most obvious, element in engaging a given hoodie is the feel that it evokes through fabrication and construction. While a perfect manifestation of the oft-termed ‘half-science, half-art’ approach, one can quickly determine what went into the thinking behind a great garment. This hoodie does that first-impression part masterfully. In fact its weight and smoothness makes you think it may be singularly built for late-evening weight sessions. Meanwhile, the second factor I love to deliberate on with hoodies is fit. Accordingly, as soon as one is ready to label and store this particular hoodie in the ‘gym’ drawer, trying it on makes one completely reconsider that approach. It rides and drapes the torso, never threatening constricted space or prohibited movement, yet always remaining in close enough quarters to consider its own form and accentuate that of the wearer. It is quite the paradox in riding the line between oversized and fitted, forward-fashion yet active. With this, I absolutely ADORE the flexibility provided with this piece both literally and figuratively as it leaves an impression that doesn’t go away the more the wearer pushes it. What did you think about the design? > The design is sharp, able, and understated. The construction does not inhibit what one would consider a design team labored over in nailing finish and silhouette constraints. It seems to have been engineered to fit both on a paris runway and a brooklyn back-alley. In my normal size - Medium - the hoodie is oversize where it should be, snug where it should be, and feels almost custom-made with the flexibility and forgiving nature of the material. Fabrication and construction come together to form an understated, statement piece and a pinnacle of movement-innovation fashion. What did you think about the fabric? > Design teams and makers spend an impeccable amount of time considering, deliberating on, and narrowing down fabrics to use in leading pieces. As a designer myself, I understand the approach and need for immense attention to this process. And yet, it is always fascinating how many end up realizing that the process is often somewhat reductive in that many times all the work leads to creation of something that could, at some point, feel invisible (or naturally-occurring, the opposite of meticulously-designed). This piece wears like a cloud. It wears like the moment one wakes up from a splendid dream and processes the beauty of what was experienced while ignoring the bed that may have sustained or allowed for that dream. The fabric is soft enough to make sure you feel it but only when you consciously set your mind to appreciate it is it truly visible (like a bed that silently supports the awe of human dreamscapes). It is sturdy enough to feel it could handle a full h.i.i.t. workout then transition to baby care. It gives the confidence of being able to handle a full day of physical labour and a full night of social activities all while staying even-keeled in its wear and response to its wearer’s antics. It’s what one would expect a sportswear ‘soft’ to be if the only design constraint was to build a piece that could do anything .. and quickly. What did you like most? What would you change? > Simply put, I love that this hoodie will become a go-to regardless of where the ‘go’ takes me. It will pull together outfits ready for the drudge of an extended design session, connect pieces purchased and assembled by-hand for luxury houses, and capture the rejuvenating nature of an early Saturday coffee run. In doing all of these activities and more seamlessly (while wearing as almost an invisible second layer of the now VERY comfortable skin-I’m-in), there is nothing to change .. besides of the inevitable increase in the quantity of these that my wardrobe requires.
