My name is Mana, A.K.A. the Nunchunk Princess. I'm Akiko. My name is Becky, A.K.A. Tecky Becky. I'm Laura. My name is April. I started Bugeisha Club a couple of years ago now, out of desire pretty much all my life of wanting to form a sisterhood. The word Bugeisha is a Japanese word for female Samurai who were called in when the men were failing at war. We would train together, maybe we would teach each other, maybe we do our own things, but we share the same space

together. We film our progress, and post it for other people, to share what we are doing with them. We get creative together, you know, we are doing it all. Emotional support as well. We really celebrate progress in the group, which is something I think before I was more in celebration of the result. But the celebration of progress has been something that has allowed me to be very vulnerable. What makes 

Bugeisha Club stand out for me is that, through this collective, we can be heightened versions of ourselves. I'm also really excited to see just how vibrant we can make this world we are creating, like away from the training, just, where can we take this?
