I tried a quick run with these ZF. It was not as I expected. Heaver shoes and a bit clunky. My biggest disappointment was the poor heel lock, even with a runners knot. The ride is a bit on the stiffer, responsive side but expected with the carbon plate. Excellent support on the lateral side of shoe but can feel like tipping over on the medial, inside of shoe. Plenty of room inside toe box, and upper material is so-so. I will be returning this shoe for something else.

Bought a pair of the Zoom Fly 4’s and loved them so bought the 5’s. They’re decent but the fit is very different from the 4’s, which hug your feet more. Not so with the 5’s, which I need to tie tighter than most and have to double knot. Wish I bought 3 pairs of the 4’s.

Best running shoes I ever had. I run 5 miles every other day and have wide, flat feet and these provide a nice combination of stability and cushioning. I did experience the “suctioning” phenomenon that others noted, but it’s minor and only really noticed it on the treadmill or inside…not running outside. I went up a half size like I do with all Nike running shoes and fit was perfect.
