The Philippines is getting recognition across the globe as being a hoop sanctuary. Either in a packed arena, or it's a village pickup game, it's magnitude is really different here.

I'm Gia Jamias and I'm the Senior Innovation Director at TITAN. I'm Valerie Chua and I'm currently the Associate Director for growth and strategy at TITAN. TITAN is a basketball concept shop and barbershop based out of Manila, Philippines.

We first opened our doors in 2010. Before then, there really wasn't a place that focused on basketball here in the Philippines, a space where the energy, the conversations, and the community came together to share that love for the game.

I love that TITAN is this place that everyone can come to and have the shared passion for basketball. It's really more than just a retail store. All the grassroots programs that we've had in the past, I think, speaks volume to being able to make an impact in the Philippines.

Sneaker culture in the Philippines is growing. TITAN has started to grow globally, with our recent Nike LeBron collaborations and now this upcoming Air Jordan 2 Collaboration. And it being a women's shoe is an incredible opportunity for the women's game.

TITAN just put a brand to what was always there, a passion or the love for the game. And we hope to sustain that energy and be able to engage more consumers, the more female consumers in the future, and be able to continue to tell our stories.
