Do Nike Shoes Have a Warranty?

We stand behind our shoes and gear because we want you to stay in the game—or get back to it quickly. In most cases, if your Nike shoes or gear develop a material or workmanship flaw within two years of the manufacture date on your item’s tag, we can help. Some Nike products have a specific written guarantees and/or warranties. In that instance, details and return information will be included on the label, hang tag, or warranty card that was included with the item.

  • Within 60 days of purchase date: You can return your items within 60 days of purchase for a full refund. If you want to exchange an item, please call us for help.
  • More than 60 days past purchase date: You can return defective or flawed items after 60 days if it's within two years of the manufacture date on the product tag by contacting us.
Nike Stores
  • Within 60 days of purchase date: Take your items to a Nike store near you to return your items.
  • More than 60 days past purchase date: Please contact us to return your items.
Nike-authorized Stores

You’ll need to return your Nike items to the store where you purchased them.

If you can’t return your items at the original place of purchase, or if the store referred you back to Nike, please use our File a Claim submission form.

Do Nike tennis shoes have an outsole guarantee?

Yes, select tennis shoe styles have a a six-month rubber Outsole Durability Guarantee. Eligible styles will include a warranty info card in the box. If you experience a material workmanship flaw, consult the card.

If the flaw doesn't meet the criteria on the warranty card and you purchased your shoes directly from Nike online (Nike App/Nike.com) or at a Nike store, refer to your purchase type above to return your items.

Purchases made at a Nike-authorized retailer should be returned to that retailer. If the retailer directs you back to us, you may still be able to set up a claim. Please visit nikeclaims.com for more information.

Do Nike Vision sunglasses have a warranty?

Yes, sunglasses purchased in the Nike App, on Nike.com, or at a Nike store are covered by our standard return policy (see Purchase Types above).

Sunglasses purchased at a Nike-authorized retailer are warrantied for up to one year. If they have a manufacture flaw, please first contact the Nike-authorized retailer where you bought them. If the retailer refers you back to us, please call the Nike Vision Team at 800-544-1336 or you can email warranty@nikevision.com for help.

Please note:

  • Warranty is valid only if purchased through a Nike-authorized Vision dealer.
  • Nike Vision does not warranty against lost items or scratched lenses.
  • Nike Vision frames with prescription lenses are warrantied against all manufacturer defects through your eyecare provider. Please contact your provider for assistance with your prescription eyewear claim.
Does Nike swimwear have a warranty?

Yes, swimwear purchased in the Nike App, on Nike.com, or at a Nike store are covered by our standard return policy (see Purchase Types above).

Nike Swimwear product purchased at a U.S. Nike-authorized retailer that has developed a material or workmanship flaw within one year of the manufacture date, and the retailer has referred you to Nike, please take the following steps:

  1. Securely package your Nike swimwear.
  2. Within the package, please include a note with this information:
    1. Your name, address, and phone number
    2. Your email address
    3. Brief explanation of the issue with the swimwear
  3. Send your product to:

Are broken or flawed shoe components eligible for replacement?

No, any removable components that come with a shoe, including, but not limited to, shoelaces, charms, insoles, and spikes, are not eligible for replacement.
