Toe box is good width, but heel lock down is poor—loose heel fit leads to poor stability in the rear foot area. Great for casual use, but I can’t feel good about serious running fit that lack of heel lock.

Simply amazing. Ive been training for IM70.3 and these have been my go-to pair. I have a couple pairs of these now and will most likely be buying another 2. Like other reviews have mentioned, there is a small heel lift but it actually doesnt bother me or effect my running at all. I have never blistered from it either and I have worn various socks with them. I was a little apprehensive at first because when you try them on for the first time, they are taller, softer than anything I have ever worn previously. Almost feel as if you will roll your ankle just walking but never the case.
