Was never a fan of traditional training shoes. They were too stiff and rigid for my liking. I feel the Metcom free strikes a good balance between support and solid shoe for weight training but also comfortable enough to do some light cardio on a treadmill or elliptical. Nike struck a good balance with this shoe as an everyday gym shoe. If you don’t want to switch back and forth between a supportive weight training shoe and a running shoe , the Metcom free is a good compromise between both.
