Elastic across the top does not stretch. It makes it difficult to get child’s foot in. Will be returning.

Very disappointed in the changes to this new version. As others have noted, the opening is so small/narrow and has no stretch that it’s impossible to put them on my 3 year old. She used to be able to independently pull on her older version of these shoes and that’s a huge draw to Flex Runner. Had to return.
