The shoe fit great. My son said they are very comfortable. However, if your child plays on the playground, or anywhere with dirt be aware that they will come home with FILTHY feet. My son has been wearing these shoes a couple weeks, and every day has came home with dirty feet. I kept thinking he was taking his shoes off, but the teacher confirmed his shoes were never off. His socks were black, feet black from the dirt. I did an experiment and sent him in a different pair of shoes, and absolutely no problems with dirt getting in the shoe. I even washed the shoes. The dirt must be getting in from the mesh. Do not spend this much money on school shoes if you do not want your child's foot to come home filthy every day.
