Bill Bowerman, Nike’s original innovator, put our blueprint in place. He inspired the Blueprint collection design details, like the speckled Swoosh logo and sketches of feet on the insole. They remind us of where we’ve been as we keep moving forward.

Responsiveness: Super High

The more responsive the shoe, the more energy return you can get back with each step. Responsive shoes help give you slightly more spring in your step to get more out of your game. The forefoot Air Zoom unit is shaped like a horseshoe. This lets you experience the full responsiveness of the Air Zoom unit on the sides and balls of your feet.

Cushioning: Super High

The more cushioning that you have underfoot, the more comfortable your playing experience can be. An Air Zoom unit on the bottom layer of the upper combines with a taller stack of springy, soft foam gives you a smooth heel-to-toe transition and underfoot comfort.

Traction: High

The more traction you have underfoot, the more separation you can create from your opponent. It can help you stop on a dime and more quickly change direction. Multidirectional traction on the rubber outsole helps you make sharp cuts when the game is on the line.

We added a horseshoe-shaped Air Zoom unit to the forefoot. Combined with Air Zoom cushioning on the bottom layer of the upper, it offers you unbelievable energy return.

Fit and Feel
