Behind the Design
Blue is reminiscent of Milwaukee’s fresh, clear waters. The speckled pattern celebrates the sea of fans who packed the Deer District during the Bucks’ 2021 title run and celebrated the team’s first championship in 50 years. The arch on the chest and down the side nods to the arena’s curved roof, while the green taping pays homage to the color shown after the Bucks win a game.

The concept of bringing people together — around Lake Michigan and in the Deer District, home to the Milwaukee Bucks’ arena, Fiserv Forum — is at the center of the team’s Nike NBA 2023-24 City Edition uniform design.
The uniform’s “Great Lakes Blue” colorway is reminiscent of the city’s fresh, clear waters. Within the blue, there’s a speckled pattern inspired by the fans that packed the Deer District during the NBA Finals in 2021, cheering the team on to bring home its first Championship in 50 years.
A swooping, cream-colored wave runs across its chest and down the left side panel reflects the architecture and energy of Fiserv Forum, following the same curve as its roof. The jocktag recognizes the Deer District as Milwaukee’s new gathering place.
