Made for short runs when you want a barefoot-like feel, the Nike Free Run 2018 feels super light and flexible. Its sock-like upper has more stretch yarns than previous versions, so it hugs your feet more than ever. The innovative sole has an updated construction, yet still expands and contracts with every movement. The packable design makes the shoe easy to stuff into your bag—so you can get in a few miles on the fly.

  • Best shoe so far

Been using this model for urban jogging and for running on the treadmill for a couple of years now. The design makes it great to wear for longer periods without getting my feet all sweaty. Also, its light weight, easy-to-pack design is perfect for one who travels a lot. I hope this shoe stays in the market for longer!

  • Runs small but comfy

Needed to size up half a size so my toes weren't smashed, but toe box is big enough. Heel is comfy (is a bit soft and bends with your foot). Very flexible shoe and slightly form fitting.

  • Sizing no longer works.

I loved these shoes, so I’m very sad to report that after many years of being able to wear these I no longer can because the latest version of them has bizarre sizing. I wear a 5.5 in regular shoes, for the last 10+ years I’ve always worn a size 6 in this shoe, but now the size 6 is too small and the size 6.5 is too big. I I tried three different pairs just to be sure I hadn’t happened to get a defective one and it’s not the case. The size 6 is too short so it hurts my toes and the size 6.5 is too big, so my foot slides forward. I’m so sad because I absolutely love the material and these have been my go to running shoes for over 10 years and now I have no running shoe. I wish they would revert the sizing to what it used to be in previous generations.
