Similar to other reviewers, the current shoe style is different from the previous version (Flex Runner 2). The band is too tight and it's hard to put on. We've tried sizing up and it's still not a good fit.

I love the previous versions of the shoe because my kids could put them on and off by themselves, but this new version is very tight. I’m not sure if the band will loosen up or not but the band that’s across the top is very tight and my two year old could not put the shoe on herself.

The flex runner “3” are very different than precious flex runner versions. My kids have been wearing these shoes nonstop so when the 3 came out, I ordered a bunch the next size up and these are impossible to put on. My poor toddler was crying and I never could get his foot in so will need to return all the pairs I got.
