Nike Air Monarch IV

Very comfortable. The only complaint is they squeak after a few weeks of wearing. Adding baby powder under the sole helps for a while. It has occurred in several pairs I've owned.

This is my fourth pair of air monarchs. The fit is great. The foot bed is great. However, the tongue padding is almost an inch thick and sticks up too high creating a pressure point on the top of my ankle. My first solution is to loop the top laces underneath the tongue and pulls it up but, that might create another spot. My second solution is to take an exact knife and remove the top inch or so of padding and covered up moleskin. If not, these solutions work, I guess I will donate the shoes

I have had a pair for a few years and they are excellent shoes. My son is now a size 12 4E width and he wanted the black/red version, so we ordered some and they squeak nonstop. I thought it was a fluke, so we ordered some white ones like mine and the exact same issue. The squeak starts within a week of wearing them and sounds like a separation issue in the sole of the shoe. Very disappointed in what was a fantastic shoe. Since he has worn both pairs over a week and outside the home, they are of course not returnable.
