Nike ACG

I love hiking clothes and wear lots of hiking pants but this was my first pair of shorts. I typically avoid shorts as I like to protection on my legs. However occasionally it is nice to have shorts for those hotter days or when you just don't want to wear pants. These shorts, to be honest, felt like I really wasn't wearing anything at all. The fabric feels like it is high quality and very lightweight. There are huge pockets as well as a tiny clip you could clip your keys on. I really enjoy this new style for me!

I was excited to try these shorts! Even though the material did not feel super soft when I first picked it up, it's actually quite comfortable and it feels very durable. The only issue for me was that the waist was a bit tight. It's quite a thick waist band with a draw string so not quite sure why it had to be tight overall. The thing I LOVE is the pockets! So hard to find exercise shorts with pockets that can be zipped up! I also appreciate that the pockets are mesh, so it feels lighter somehow and does not bulk up my hips. Overall I did like the shorts, but would probably have purchased a bigger size.

The shorts are cute and the additional ring for attaching a caribiner/clip and netted zip pockets were great. I love that these are more sustainably made. However, as a short women with some fluff, they were not flattering on me. The length of the crotch was too long, leading to some “pooching” which made be feel self-conscious wearing these. Putting the waistband lower on my hips got rid of the “pooch” but wasn’t comfortable. I think these would be work well for taller women.
