Nike and the LEGO Group team up to promote play
  • Nike and the LEGO Group just announced a new multi-year partnership to promote sport and creative play for all kids worldwide.
  • Starting in 2025, look for co-branded products, content and experiences combining the imaginative power of LEGO bricks with Nike's "Just Do It" spirit.
  • To get inspired, watch the companies' digital animation, which brings their partnership to life.

Play should be a building block of childhood. Unfortunately, for a third of children globally, playtime is limited to three hours a week, according to a recent study from the LEGO Group. Plus, only one in five kids worldwide get the physical activity they need to thrive, says the World Health Organization.

The prescription? More time for play and sport, which are critical for children's development. That's why Nike and the LEGO Group teamed up to help build a solution. Enter a new multi-year partnership between the companies to inspire and empower kids to move, explore and create to become their best selves. Their collaboration is natural since Nike and the LEGO Group share a mission to help all kids achieve their full potential.

Beginning in 2025, expect co-branded products and experiences meant to spur children's growth, joy, health and out-of-the-box thinking. With the imaginative power of LEGO bricks and Nike's "Just Do It" spirit, the possibilities will be endless.

In the meantime, you and your kids can check out the animated video the companies created to bring their partnership to life. At the centre is a LEGO Minifigure head whose smile transforms into the Nike Swoosh. Around it, other iconic symbols and images from both companies make appearances. During the 15-second video, look for:

  • The duck, the LEGO Group's first product and a symbol of Oregon, Nike's birthplace
  • The orange Nike shoe box
  • The GOAT, symbolising the great athletes in Nike's portfolio
  • The Pegasus horse, referring to a Nike footwear innovation
  • The Waffle outsole and Nike Air technologies
  • The LEGO brick, Minifigure, castle and studs

Step by step and brick by brick, Nike and the LEGO Group are excited to play a part in inspiring the next generation of movers and shakers. Their invitation to children worldwide: ready, steady, go … create! To learn more about the Nike x LEGO release, visit https://www.nike.com/lego and https://www.lego.com/nike.
