Everyone know black is classic and this jacket is just that. The material feels light weight, structured in the right areas to be a more flattering loose fit item. Fit was true to size large. No pockets on the inside, but the exterior pockets have either a zipper of buckle closure, which are nice touches for an active wear jacket to be more functional.

I love that the jacket is functional, but not boring. From a fashion perspective, the logo is understated in the best way possible. The strap under the logo in the chest area gives it a cool, industrial feel, while still being extremely approachable and wearable. As for function, the front pockets are spacious and have zippers to help secure your items. The jacket itself is pretty lightweight, comfortable, and I appreciate that the material is water resistant. It can definitely be used for a variety of temperatures and weather conditions, including some rain. I enjoy working out, so I envision using this jacket during an outdoor run, or to simply elevate a casual outfit. A couple of cons of the jacket is that the material can be a bit staticky after some use, and the material is noisy if it rubs together (ie if arm rubs against your side while walking). To me — this is a staple lightweight jacket that everyone should have in their wardrobe. It fits true to size and would definitely be easy to style for casual wear.

A little background about myself and why I was looking for a jacket in the first place. I at 5’10” athletic build looking for a jacket to wear on most of my outdoor activities and something that had a natural sun blocking mechanism built in so I didn’t have to wear mass amounts of sunscreen when going for a run or fishing on the boat. First of all the pros: + built in UPF 50+ into the material + breathable material + durable zippers and constructions + ample pockets and storage options + oversized fit + lightweight All of these make this jacket easy to keep in the running for a lightweight windbreaker or spring/fall active or outdoor jacket. It’s easy to pack to bring along with you on any adventure you may find yourself on as well. Now on to the thing a most people care about when considering a purchase, the cons: ⁃sleeve length, this is an oversized fit and I went true to size knowing that. The sleeves are a little long going all the way to my last knuckles and the cuff doesn’t secure around your wrist do to the oversize nature ⁃The front pocket strap. Not that it’s not useful, I just haven’t found a use for it personally. The pocket also sticks out of the front of the jacket causing a slight bulge on your left pectoral instead of having the pocket enclosed on the inside of the jacket. Overall, this jacket looks great, stylish and has great features that would look great in anyone’s wardrobe. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight jacket for casual and activewear.
