Big Head Origins
Nineties gaming culture was all about collecting more coins and unlocking new cheat codes. We channelled that mindset and re-engineered the iconic Air Max 1 to highlight the details, colours and feelings of that era.
This 'Big Head Origins' edition features hairy brown suede, cream mesh and a yellow midsole—tied together with a red polygon Swoosh logo. An oversized tongue "inflated" with extra padding heightens the shape into something bright, bold and BIG.
The backside label features an E rating, because Air Max is for everybody. Inside, you'll find an insole stamped with golden .SWOOSH coin emblems. Lace up, press start and collect 'em all.

Remember the revolution. 1987 saw the birth of the Air Max lineage, showcasing visible Air for the first time. What began as an experiment in cushioning soon evolved into an icon on the track and the streets. Over the years, it's been reimagined and re-tooled, but the heritage always remains.
