Every runner is different because every body is different. NSRL Form combines the biomechanics expertise of the Nike Sport Research Lab and the latest motion-capture technology to track your running across six core running metrics: Slide, Roll, Cross, Bounce, Lean and Reach.

Using machine-learning technology, we represent these metrics as an individualized assessment of your running profile. We use this to highlight opportunities for improvement, help you progress through simple Nike Training Club exercises and help you make confident running footwear choices that suit your personal needs.

What should I bring to my NSRL Form appointment?
Check your confirmation details and arrive fuelled and warmed up. Just wear your go-to running shoes and some comfortable, non-reflective running clothes.

What do I do exactly?
Simply run on a treadmill for about 2 minutes at a self-selected, comfortable pace.

Why only two minutes?
Most runners only need about one minute to reach a comfortable gait on a treadmill. We then capture your form and you can stop.

How long does the consultation take?
It may differ by location, but usually you’ll be done in about 15 minutes.

What are the benefits?
Apart from educating you on the science behind your running, we’ll assess where you can focus first on improving your running form. We’ll also provide you with a personalized recommendation of form adjustments and exercises to build the capacity to implement those techniques. Lastly, well share what to look for in a Nike Running shoe to help optimize your running form based on your specific run profile.
