Jordan heritage runs deep in New York City. This collaboration with Awake NY celebrates that undeniable link between MJ's birthplace and what Jordan Brand has grown to be. Before the AJ1 debuted, MJ wore the Jordan Air Ship—so we're honouring those roots with the ones before the 1s. This edition mixes a Sail leather upper with University Red snakeskin accents, while a Metallic Platinum Swoosh is layered over a University Red Swoosh adding depth to the design. The Air Ship comes decked out in branding too, including a co-branded tongue label, Awake NY's signature "A" logo stitched on the mudguard and "Awake NY" stamping on the heel. Custom packaging seals the deal.
