Good monrning, I'm Yuto Horigome.  I'm here in Kyoto.

We are traveling around visiting temples and shrines. Kind of like a  field trip!  Watch your head.

We met through skate and go back many years meeting up at many competitions, and we visited all over."

"When we are back in Japan, we skate together.  Good friends.

"When you live in America you start to see your own country from a ""foreigner's POV"".
You appreciate so much more, and thought that I wanted to use that  inspiration for the design.  I thought the next Dunk should be Matcha color."

Having a signature shoe is special and since I grew up in Japan, I wanted to bring the Japaese culture into it. It's something I think about.

The Horigome mark is the family shield mark.  Having that on my shoe reminds me that I am not alone in this.

"I wanted to place a one point accent with the pink color.
Isn't that what you did for the last one too?
Yes.  It comes from cherry blossoms and a park I started skating."

I could always see the sakura pink from the park, so I wanted to always have the pink color somewhere.
