I'm Sam. I run Hartcopy, a shoe magazine and media platform. It's my job to deliver stories behind the shoes.

We call it a catalog, an encyclopedia of culture. It explores the backdrop of notable shoes and the latest products.

It also explores how design elements from the past have contributed to current trends and why this history is important.

All shoe designs go in and out of style, but when I fall in love with a pair of shoes, I wear them all year long.

The Field General is an all-around shoe that can be worn anywhere, anytime, and is both formal and casual.

I pay attention to what's old, hard to find, and interesting rather than price.  I guess that's what got me into this line of work.
