SB Dunk High Pro

FPAR

$125.00

In 1993, artist and designer Tetsu "Tet" Nishiyama founded FPAR, a streetwear label that stands for Forty Percent Against Rights. The label’s designs are born from the concept that art is for the public good, and that rights to original artwork are lost once 40% of it is modified. Led by that ethos, FPAR pushes against traditional forms of media by expressing their artistic provocation through clothing.
FPAR’s customization of Nike SB’s Dunk High Pro starts from Tet’s own love of skating beginning in the mid-1990’s. In typical fashion, FPAR warps the Dunk into a time-capsule of 90's silhouettes with a black-on-smoke upper and custom embroidered messages of "Don’t follow me" and "I’m lost too" on the swoosh. "Trust No One" is embroidered on the back of the tongue keeping that most vital maxim tight. These words reflect Tet’s philosophy of "Find out which way you want to go and that becomes your own path."
