Fueled by “the power of music to move the world forward,” Paris-based sportswear brand, Pigalle, merges the progressive values of sport and art for its unique take on the Chuck 70. The phrase is hidden in monochromatic lettering on the Barely Volt midsole wrap. The canvas upper mimics the aesthetic of a second Pigalle x Nike basketball court recently built in Beijing, a celebration of the innovative Nike Grind construction that recycled over 45,000 pairs of old shoes for use as the court’s surface. A technical fuse film gives this enduring classic a new aura, a lightning storm flashing across the gradient multi-color upper.
