INSIDE THE VAULT
AIR JORDAN VIII
The Air Jordan VIII released during one of the most eventful periods in Michael Jordan’s career. His Chicago squad was on the verge of another championship, and he already had plenty of scoring titles, MVP awards and All-Star appearances under his belt.
1993’s All-Star spectacle helped introduce the Air Jordan VIII to the world. Splashed in vibrant tones that gave the signature a look unlike any Air Jordan before, the Air Jordan VIII made its debut in grand fashion. MJ would go on to score a game-high 30 points for the East while wearing the sneaker.
The strapped up, baroque design of the Air Jordan VIII was also immortalized in cartoon form. The era’s most recognizable toons took us across the universe in a series of print ads and TV spots with the Air Jordan VIII front and center.
Remastered like its 1993, the Air Jordan VIII now returns in its truest form, with a classic build, original tones and the shoe’s iconic graphic print in all the right places.
