It’s been three decades since the Air Max 95 was first introduced by Nike. Originally a flagship Air Max running shoe, the Air Max 95 was known for its unique material construction, vibrant color schemes and first of its kind forefoot visible Air cushioning.

During its development by designer Sergio Lozano, the Air Max 95 appeared in a white-based and “Neon Yellow” accented color scheme atop a white-based visible Air sole. This unique colorway would never release, and instead, the Air Max 95 made its debut in a black-based “Neon Yellow” accented color scheme.

Now in celebration of its 30th anniversary, the icon is back with updated true-to-original visible Air units and the original, white-based color scheme we first saw in Sergio Lozano’s early sketches.

In celebration with Nike, this Air Max 95 is available exclusively at MoMA Design Store.
