NYC EDITIONS
Harlem-born entertainer and athlete Sheck Wes is the inaugural curator of Nike’s new program, NYC Editions. The scheme serves to celebrate New York City through partnerships with local creatives, and allows the curators access to classic Nike silhouettes as a canvas for self-expression and to relay homegrown stories.
With Wes, NYC Editions tips-off with a bicoastal flavor. He nods to his current life, split between NYC and LA, by finding commonality in a love for basketball. The Air Max 95 balances New York's noteworthy orange and LA's unmistakable purple to reflect Wes’s move from east to west alongside a gritty graphic aesthetic.

Remember the revolution. 1987 saw the birth of the Air Max lineage, showcasing visible Air for the first time. What began as an experiment in cushioning soon evolved into an icon on the track – and the streets. Over the years, it’s been reimagined and retooled, but the heritage always remains.
