"I have in my collection probably a little over 2,000 pairs, which are all my babies. They're all a form of art. The Air Max is very near and dear to my heart because I opened my business in 1987. I believe that's when the Air Max was introduced."

"I started off with sneakers from my mentor, who was my father. He started me selling shoes since I was six years old. He taught me about shoes. He taught me to love the shoes. He taught me to never give up. If you fall, you get up and nothing is given in life, so you earn things."

"When they came to the shop, once I saw them I fell in love with them. The materials are gorgeous on the shoe. You could see the velvet material on it. It also has the velvet lacing. I would write this in my top 10."
