It's fun to be at a place where there really are no limits. It's a really fun time to be an Oregon Duck, that's for sure.

The players really choose what they want to wear, and my job is basically to be a liaison to the people that are really talented at design and stuff.

So I pulled out a few of my favorite pairs from over the years just to show you guys today, get you a little peek behind the vault, so we've got a couple of little grails we want to show you guys.

This cleat right here, it's called Kenny Farr Dunk. It's something we developed over some time. I worked with a former player named Mattrell McGraw on this cleat, and...

You know it was kind of inspired by my favorite all-time SB dunk, inspired us to make this dunk cleat. And it's color changing with heat; when it cools down, obviously it goes back to black. Phil Knight's nickname is Buck, so we added that to it as an honor to Mr. Knight.

This cleat right here is the original Untouchable. This really got developed here and a think tank meeting with a bunch of players in 2012. Our players really came up with the idea. They wanted to have a full Flyknit cleat.

Eventually, a couple years later is when it debuted in 2014, and these were colorways we wore during the regular season that year. A really special year for our guys, and a really special cleat.

This year, we came up with the What the Ducks. For somebody like me that's been here for so long, this really represents a lot of eras, a lot of great players, a lot of really good friends, a lot of really amazing moments. This pattern right here with the Ohana pattern...

...which was such a cool project to do, and my wife being Polynesian just has a little bit of extra special meaning to my wife and my kids. Just remembering that how great that uniform was and seeing that reflected on the shoe was a special moment for me.

The Volt on the mid-sole here is something that I really like too because it reminds me of our 2010 National Championship when we came out with Volt socks and cleats, and that was kind of groundbreaking at the time.

A lot of other teams followed suit and are doing some crazy and wild and really inventive stuff out there, but it's always good to be at the tip of the spear.

One of my all-time favorite pairs is this pair we did back in 2018, the Tinker 3. We had a really great uniform that went along with this shoe and this travel sweat. There's a lot of favorites, but this is one of my all-time favorites. Another thing about this shoe that I liked is it kind of transcends just...

...athletes or streetwear. It kind of symbolizes what Oregon football has represented without the tradition, where our tradition is to be untraditional. So having the ability to take the swoosh off and switch it up just kind of fits the culture that we have here.

Well, this cleat right here is the CJ that we wore back in 2014. This is really popular. Marcus Mariota, one of the things that he did that was always kind of crazy to me is that he started cutting the straps off the top. He wasn't a big fan of straps...

...once he did that, every player started cutting the straps off, and it was an interesting thing. But it is a great cleat, one that he wore a lot and had a lot of great success.

So this is a new one for us. It's going to be exciting. We're going to wear this for the first time in the Rose Bowl on January 1st. This cleat, obviously it's going to be quite an honor to wear it in LA...

...down at the Rose Bowl for the first time. Obviously the home of all things Kobe, and what an honor is to wear a Kobe Six that's custom to Oregon. An interesting part about this cleat is it was so important for us to wear this cleat in LA at the Rose Bowl...

...that we designed the rest of the uniform base started with this cleat. So you're going to see a little bit of mixing and matching, which is pretty traditional for us to move things around and keep things interesting. But we started with the cleat and built the rest off of that.
