Hey what’s up guys? It’s your boy Corey Populus, aka Young Corey. We’re here in West LA at the legendary A&J Games. This is The-Drop Off. 

Nike just dropped these off. Let’s see what’s inside. Whoa! These are crazy! Today I present you guys the Air Max 1 'Big Head Origins.'

There’s a couple key details on this shoe that I want to go over. We have the pixelated toe here, and we have the Low Poly swoosh which is as signature of .SWOOSH. Something you don’t see on an Air Max 1 usually is the fat tongue, which is really dope.

Behind that fat tongue, we got that “E for Everybody” for all the gamers out there. We even have an Air Max coin here on the back if you know what that is. The suede is just… insane. This is my favorite detail of the whole shoe. I’ve never seen anything like it. I don’t know if you can see that there.

What I love most about the Air Max 1 ‘Big Head Origins’ is just the colorway. You never really get brown and yellow together. You throw that pop of red in there—red is my favorite color—so I feel that the outfit choices are endless.

Just the classic Air Max silhouette. You can never really go wrong with an Air Max, from a comfortability standpoint. They’re always super comfortable and they’re gonna hold you down your whole day of walking. 

And this new inflated tongue, this is crazy, this should be a standard on all Air Maxes going forward, in my opinion. We got a new colorway of the .SWOOSH box. If you had a pair of Low Poly Air Maxes in the past, they always come in this really cool big logo .SWOOSH box. I really love this one because I really love the color yellow. Who doesn’t love a good yellow?

This shoe is really special to me because I grew up a gamer. I actually used to walk up here to the A&J Games after middle school and we used to rent consoles from Mr. Gary. We have fun and build community around gaming.

It’s kind of crazy now to say something is inspired by retro gaming because I was here playing those games, they weren’t even retro, they were fresh out the box. It’s a really cool shoe.
