I'm Confetti Yard, we are from Korea.
And we're creative artists.

This time, we collaborated on a new project inspired by the traditional game Mancala.

When I first heard that the three of us would be working together, I wanted to try it. I was really excited to see how we would mix it up and create one piece of art.

For this project, I focused more on the “Air” in Air Max Dn8 specifically how air moves. I wanted to explore different ways to express that movement, drawing a parallel between the way food shifts around on the table and how the air inside the shoes move. 

At that stage, I was developing the game without concrete sense of how they feel. But after trying them on, I really got to experience the comfort firsthand, and I’d love to incorporate that sensation into the game. 

As someone who’s always been a huge fan of Air Max, I'm excited for this new Air Max era.
