"…in just about everything that we do. But what we do take is an opportunity to sort of contrast with a little bit more of a positive message…"

"…and here we have is the AJ 1 'Rebellionaire'. When we approach concepts like this, especially from the color standpoint, if you look closely, it actually represents the 'Banned' blocking which was the original black and red."

"It's essentially desaturated, so we basically took the color out of the shoe, just like the League was trying to do back in 1985."

"Another layer to the graffiti type was inspired by the original, very iconic photograph of him playing on a Chicago playground."

"The rebel narrative to me, I think, is important because it's about really being able to do what you feel is right, what others have told you you couldn't do and really just having the heart to do and explore what you're capable of."

"Here on the back, we decided to bring the iconic 'Banned' X logo back. This was made famous back in 2011. We looked at it as an opportunity to bring this logo back just to make it a little bit more special."
