It's that time. The Air Max SNDR, it is the one. Obviously it being from the '90s, something about it still feels futuristic, so it felt like a blank canvas for me.

The first mock-up, we were exploring the fact that it was like a '90s Air Max shoe, but it kind of had that outdoorsy sort of ACG energy with the zip-up.

The Air Max product line just has so much to draw from. But I think just trying to insert ourselves in a way that felt new and fresh.
Yeah, even just the colorway is like the whole idea of sunrise and sunset.

Just representing the everyday hustle of getting up, working all day and coming home when the sun's down, the caging that representing the longitude and latitude of this global community.

The idea of the immigrant spirit is something that we talk about. It has that ability to be as diverse as the people that it represents.
KO, you flipped the first time I showed you the call-in card. What was your thoughts on that? That takes me back to, I don't know how old I was.

It has so many meanings because for us it was a real thing that we used growing up as kids. A way to be able to tap back in with our family, back home. Collaboration is pretty much at the center of everything we do creatively, right?

Absolutely. And no one has a big ego. Everyone just wants to create and wants to help.
Again, this is the why, the collaboration between Kids of Immigrants and the SNDR is so important is because we get to tell these stories...

...that are niche, but also global at the same time.
