The Nike Design Exploration (NDE) team creates alternate versions of the iconic by finding solutions to daily challenges. Their work on the ISPA (Improvise. Scavenge. Protect. Adapt) collection is in response to the world’s constant state of evolution. Each piece features radical details to help overcome obstacles in your environment.

Double the Air

The shoe uses technology found in Basketball and Running prototypes. It has 2 Zoom Air units in the forefoot and 2 double-stacked Zoom Air units at the midfoot. Each combine for underfoot comfort and a responsive feel as you move.

Peek Inside

Taking a cue from the iconic Nike Shox, an open, floating heel lets you see the inner workings of the shoe. It helps give you a soft feel and impact absorption with every step.

Split and Secure

A split-toe upper takes inspiration from Nike Training prototypes. It helps keep your foot contained without sacrificing motion and agility. Split-toe socks are included.

Customized Support

A patched-together knit upper with rubber overlays helps support your foot. Adjustable buckles keep you secure.
