Sabrina 2 Releases in Celebration of Basketball Superstar

• The brand-new Sabrina 2 signature collection raises the game, combining the best of the first collection with fresh performance and style upgrades.
• The Sabrina 2 “Court Vision” performance-oriented basketball shoe is 28 grams lighter than the Sabrina 1. Offering support, stability, and comfort, the shoe has a unique design that references Ionescu’s name and background.
• The Sabrina 2 collection will be available globally on June 25, 2024. For the first time, the shoes and select apparel will be available in youth sizes in addition to unisex adult sizes.

Pro women’s basketball player Sabrina Ionescu has achieved success by breaking barriers. So, it’s only fitting the WNBA sharpshooter’s signature shoe and accompanying apparel collections with Nike do the same.

Her first, the Sabrina 1, released in March 2023, made history by coming in unisex adult sizes. Now, the Sabrina 2, available globally on June 25, 2024, takes off where its predecessor left off. Combining the best of the Sabrina 1 collection plus upgrades, the Sabrina 2 shoe and select apparel also come in kids’ sizes.

As with the first collection, performance-focused basketball shoes are the centerpiece. Like the Sabrina 1, the Sabrina 2 “Court Vision” was designed for Ionescu’s unique style of play, featuring rapid acceleration and quick cuts. Yet, these new shoes raise the game, taking hoopers even farther.

Twenty-eight grams lighter than the Sabrina 1, the purple Sabrina 2 “Court Vision” boasts a Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot to help with energy return and responsiveness. It also strikes the perfect balance between comfort and stability. The shoe’s midsole includes plush Cushlon 3.0 foam within a firmer Cushlon foam carrier.

To help keep feet secure, an updated band system wraps around the midfoot. An “S”-inspired herringbone pattern on the rubber outsole supports multidirectional traction.

Reflecting Ionescu’s style and groundbreaking career, the detailed stitching and embroidery patterns reference her initials and number. Symbolizing how she’s shattered glass ceilings, a Swoosh strikes through the stitchwork—in some colorways, it’s mirror-finished so the next generation can see themselves in their sneaks. The outsoles continue the theme, with an exposed Swoosh and “i” alluding to Ionescu’s last name.

Rounding out the collection, the apparel includes two tees, a hoodie, shorts, and a reversible bomber jacket for adults and a hoodie and shorts for kids.
