After the 7-year journey from conception to release, the Air VaporMax represents a new era in Nike innovation. To truly capture the feeling of "running on air", the designers restructured the Air unit to be attached directly to the upper. As you step down, each lug gets pushed into the Air unit, ramping up the pressure. Then, as you step off, the pressure releases creating springy bounce with superior flexibility. Made for runners, the futuristic technology was quickly adopted by the street, bringing this light-as-air feeling to the masses.

How This Was Made
- This product was responsibly designed utilising recycled materials from post-consumer and/or post-manufactured waste. One of our biggest steps on our journey to zero carbon and zero waste is in choosing our materials because they account for more than 70% of any product's footprint. By reusing existing plastics, yarns and textiles, we significantly reduce our emissions. The Most Comfortable Vapormax Yet!

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever wore! Very true to size and they wrap my feet so nicely, it feels like I’m wearing a heavy duty durable sock. I wish there were more color-ways of these Vapormax Mocs. These feel so great on my feel, I ordered the black versions too and if you still had my size (11.5) in the red Vapormax Mocs, I’d purchase those as well. Make more colors of these!
