We discovered an exposed Air unit tends to crack in cold temperatures, so Nike engineers had to adjust on the fly. We created a new Air unit and quietly "shrunk the window both in length and height". Lucky for us, it's not the '80s any more. The bubble-bursting days of yesteryear stayed where they belong—firmly rooted in the past.
And for all our fellow Air Max heads, this Metallic Silver and Cool Grey colour scheme puts all the striking details on full display.
