The logo that we created really symbolizes Filipinos and their love for basketball, and it also marries my design aesthetic and essentially what TITAN is all about.

My name is Alaine Nasser, and I'm the Senior Merchandise Manager for Apparel for TITAN. I'm Chi Gibbs. I'm a Designer and Printmaker from the Philippines, and I am TITAN's latest collaborator for the Air Jordan 2s.

TITAN is a space for different collaborators and creatives, and we're a company that really is just an open space for everyone to create. Working with Chi has been a really great experience.

My design aesthetic is playful, really colorful, always retro-inspired in a way, but I think the essence of it is my home and being able to showcase the tropical lifestyle.

Working with Jordan to design the shoe is definitely a dream come true. To me, this is on another level of meaningful because I'm able to honor my grandfather and the 1950s team.

The jumping off point for this shoe really was my grandfather and the team, the '50s, and that whole era in general. That was what inspired our color choices, our fabric choices. I also wanted to mix in my own personal style.

The most important element to me in the shoe, it's actually hidden. It's this graphic for the sock liner because that's really where I was able to honor my grandfather in the team. I also love that it gives me a tropical feel.

I feel like it invites you to the tropics somehow. My name is Chi Loyzaga Gibbs. And my name is Alaine Nasser. And this has been behind the design of the Air Jordan 2 x TITAN.
