The Air Force 1 is universal language. One of a few shoes that is worn everywhere across the globe. Its white-on-white iteration may be its most revered design, but it's the unique colourways that are most coveted. Take the Air Force 1 B for example, a series of AF1s heralded for their unique materials and colour schemes.

Included was the 2001 Air Force 1 B 'Hong Kong', a simple yet striking design with a Forest Green leather upper and stitched Swoosh. A solid white sole, dark burgundy laces, orange sockliners and satin collar lining added to a perfect blend of subtle elements that made them a classic.

Also in 2001, the Air Force 1 B series brought together reflective panelling and snakeskin in a way that no other shoe could. Soft black leather, reflective overlays and a snake Swoosh met the same subtle details seen on the HKs to birth yet another AF1 favourite.

Standing out from the rest, AF1 curators at the time cooked up a workboot-inspired design that would forever be appreciated. Low-cut, in a Wheat/Wheat-Dark Mocha colour scheme above a gum rubber midsole, the 2001 shoe was smooth. The selection of AF1 B styles released at the time included a variety of random designs. While simple and subtle, they marked the early days of the AF1's versatility being on full display.
