Sport is a platform for athletes* to change the world — there's nothing like it for bringing people together. It can change lives for the better, pave the way for future generations and give people the visibility to take up the space they deserve.

Sport without the LGBTQIA+ community is incomplete. We’re shining a light on athletes* and groups in the Nike community that are changing the game with their inspiring determination — like Paris-based Nike coaches Yassin (he/him) and Léone (she/they).

Yassin and Léone have discovered self-acceptance and personal growth through their sports journeys – something they now want to give back through their training and coaching.

Not only striving to make everyone feel welcome in their classes, but the pair also convey a sense of pride and confidence when coaching. Their aim is to empower individuals to carry this assurance into their daily lives, too. Yassin explains, "by showing people it's okay to be themselves, we inspire others to do the same."
