With a nod to the collegiate hoops history of the Tar Heel State, the 'Alumni Blue' colourway peps up this stealthy Air Jordan XXXIII Low with pops of light blue. Engineered for the modern game with court-ready tech like the stabilising X-Plate and full-length Zoom Strobel unit, this version of the premier performance shoe gets even closer to the ground for enhanced feel and shiftiness.

My Official Review: 4.55/5 Stars Comparable Shoe: Luka 1's My Experience: High school > College > Overseas The Jordan 38 low is a completely different fit than the high version. If I'm being honest, I think I prefer the high's more than the low's but only because the air strobel feels more pronounced in the high's. These are definitely a trimmed down 1-2 guard version. Bigs might need to go with the high's for more support around the ankle but that's based on hi/lo cut preference. If I had to compare it to a similar shoe, they're basically a beefed up version of the Luka 1's with exponentially better grip and structural stability. Pros: - Amazing grip on clean floors (TBD on dusty floors...) - Great lateral stability - Quality materials - Breathable - Lightweight - Mid Foot lockdown (great for spot up shooting and coming off screen to shot actions) Cons: - Definitely need to break them in - Unusually wide toe box (this is weird because this specific shoe is narrow along the midfoot and gets super wide in the toe box) - Not as bouncy as the high's - The grip will peel off around the front portion of the X outsole (this is just a design flaw) Really good shoe if you're playing a lot and prefer quality over everything. Are they the most comfortable when you first put them on? No, but with playing/practicing 2-3 times per week - they're solid.

I’m a Jordan show collector for over 10 years. These are currently my favorite (and most commented on from strangers ) kicks to wear for comfort, and for style.
