OVERKILL
Talking Shop
Berlin's Kreuzberg district has always been known for its vibrant and authentic character. Early on, the area served as the ideal breeding ground for creative movements such as street art and sneaker culture. Inspired by Berlin's massive graffiti presence, OVERKILL was originally conceived in 1992 as a magazine by OVERKILL co-founder and CEO Thomas Peiser to document the scene.
When streetwear and sneaker culture took off in the early 2000s, the OVERKILL store was established, offering the community a wide range of spray cans, markers, sneakers, apparel and accessories. In 2010, sneaker collector Marc Leuschner strengthened the team as CEO, adding his vision, passion and influence to the mix.
OVERKILL has since grown into a well recognized Berlin icon and leading destination for anyone with an interest in sneakers, streetwear and graffiti art. Anticipating the future, OVERKILL continues to develop new ideas and movements such as the women-focused OVERKILL Women retail space and GATE, a multibrand fashion store and event space aiming to connect fashion, art and music.
