My names Mark Macdonald. I'm buying director for SEVENSTORE.

SEVENSTORE is located in the Baltic Triangle area in Liverpool. We've been here since 2019. There's lots of different design agencies, artist studios

There's new restaurants popping up, independent coffee stores, breweries. We can call on agencies and creative, creatives that are literally 2/3 doors away from us.

I think SEVENSTORE just adds that bit of sparkle, to the Baltic Area. Even if you're going out shopping in Liverpool you go to SEVENSTORE.

Community is everything 'round here. In anywhere across the city I think. I think without that maybe you're just another, another shop, but when you're getting so involved i think it makes people wanna, you know, come in and be a part of it. 

I'm an artist who really likes words, I like to focus on them because they, they show who we are as a person and they're part of our identity. SEVENSTORE got in contact with me after the Liverpool Biennial Commission because it hit home and struck a chord and they really liked it. 

It's very important to have these, to have these hubs like the Baltic Triangle and have people like SEVENSTORE and like us who continue to drive that, you know community aspect.

One of our main objectives is definitely to try and do something that merges multiple genres of fashion so if that's, what we class as OG streetwear to emerging brands to outdoor trends to contemporary fashion.  

It's certainly not about saying we're the biggest, we're the best - it's just about saying you know we do our own thing and we try and be different 

We try and be humble and we hope then that people... react to that and then that's how you build a you know a longer term conversation with people. Liverpool in general is definitely up and coming, better watch out.
