I just received a gift from Nike SNKRS, and I think it must contain something amazing since it's from SNKRS.

The colourway is very familiar: it's the OG Royal Blue.
Although the material is slightly different, the details are almost identical to the original.
The product is named the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Royal Re-Imagined'.
I am showing it to you for the first time.

When most people think of Air Jordan 1 OG colourways, they often recall Chicago, Black Toe and Bred Toe. Many OG colourways were released in 1985.

Royal Blue was one of them, and it was Michael Jordan's favourite. He wore this Royal Blue Air Jordan in OG advertisements.

This retro version, named 'Re-Imagined', is not an exact replica of the OG model. It's a reinterpretation. Suede material is used for the upper, giving it a different style from the OG, which was made from leather.
The Royal Blue colourway exudes a luxurious vibe, and the changed material adds an even more sophisticated touch, giving a sense of luxury.

The first time I saw the Air Jordan 1 'Royal Blue' colourway, the word "waves" came to mind.
Waves can represent both small ripples and big waves, meaning that the small ripples of 1985 have grown into the big waves of today. It brings back old memories. Anyway, let me quickly try them on.

Many tend to style it with a hip-hop street look, but I have lots of meetings, so I tried to match the Royal Blue colourway with a casual/formal style.

Since the material itself is suede, I paired it with a wool jacket and pleated trousers. I recommend trying unconventional styling with the 'Royal Re-Imagined'.

I like the idiom "Review the old and learn the new", which means gaining new insights through what has been learnt. It's the reason I live in this old hanok (a traditional Korean house).
